A flower party for kids
Kids love flowers when they get to choose. At a kids' party, our bloom bar becomes a place to pick colors, make something and take it home in their own hands. We plan every part of it around little guests, from the flowers we bring to the way we make each piece.
It suits a birthday, a garden party or a little celebration at home. Grown-ups often end up at the table too. We bring everything, set up before the kids arrive, stay for the whole party and pack up afterwards, so all you need to plan is the cake.
The Petal Art Table
The Petal Art Table is our favorite for kids. Each child chooses their own pressed flowers and fills one of our illustrated templates: a little dress, a stroller, a birthday crown, fairy wings. They arrange the petals however they like. There's no wrong answer, and no two pictures come out the same.
Framing their own art
When a picture is finished, it goes into a frame to take home, so it survives the car ride and ends up on a wall instead of in a bag. A frame is included in the $30 per guest. Gold floating-glass frames are $10 more, and they make the pressed flowers look like they're suspended in the air.
Kids choose, we make
At the bloom bar itself, kids pick their stems from the drawers and we make the piece for them: a little bouquet, a wristlet or a crown for the birthday child. There's no wire or scissors in small hands. Kids get the fun part, choosing, and we do the part with tools.
Our safety rules
These are the same at every party, and they're not up for negotiation:
- Children choose and we make. No wire or scissors in small hands.
- We never use lilies, lily of the valley, foxglove, oleander or hydrangea.
- No berries or beads at events with toddlers.
- Tell us about pets and allergies and we'll plan around them.
- We only photograph the flowers. Never children, unless a parent asks us to in writing.
Planning the party
The Petal Art Table can stand on its own or sit beside the bloom bar. We need a table and a little room for kids to gather, indoors or under cover. Tell us the age range and how many children are coming, and we'll suggest the right templates and the right package.
The Petal Art Table is $30 per guest, frame included. Bloom bar packages from $750 for up to 12 guests.

What age is the Petal Art Table for?
It works well for kids who can sit for a few minutes and place petals with their fingers. Younger children can do it with a parent beside them.
Is anything sharp at the table?
No. Pressed flowers and templates only. No wire or scissors in small hands.
Do you take photos of the kids?
No. We only photograph the flowers, never children, unless a parent asks us to in writing.
What if a child has allergies?
Tell us ahead of time and we'll leave those flowers out. We never use flowers that are toxic to kids or pets.
