Wearable flowers
Wearable flowers for your party: crowns, floral rings and wristlets
At our bloom bar, guests don't just take flowers home. They wear them for the rest of the party. Each guest chooses stems from the drawers of our painted chest, then we make their piece on them in a few minutes. Here's what's on the menu, how long each piece lasts and what happens when it dries.
There's no craft to learn and nothing for guests to clean up. They point at the colors they love, and a maker at the bar does the rest while they talk. It's a calm, slow corner of the party, and it works for showers, birthdays, engagement parties and work events alike.

Each piece on the menu
- Floral ring: a cocktail ring of tiny blooms, made in front of you on an adjustable band. It's the one people photograph.
- Wristlet: a soft cuff of blooms, made on the wrist in a few minutes.
- Pin: a small posy for a lapel, a bag strap or a jacket.
- Hair comb or clip: tucked into a braid, a bun or a ponytail.
- Crown: our most special piece. Made ahead for the guest of honor, or as an upgrade.
- A little bouquet: for guests who'd rather carry flowers than wear them.
How long they last
We build most pieces with long-lasting blooms and dried stems, so they look fresh all party, even on a warm afternoon. Floral rings and wristlets are small and close to the skin, so they're happiest out of direct sun. A crown made ahead is kept cool until the guest of honor puts it on. Every piece goes home in a small keepsake box with a stem card that tells you what's in it and how to keep it.
How they dry at home
Most pieces still look lovely when they dry. Take your piece out of the box when you get home and keep it somewhere dry and out of direct sunlight, which fades the colors. Lay a wristlet or floral ring flat on a shelf, or hang a crown on a hook. Over a week or two, the dried stems hold their shape and the fresh blooms soften into muted, vintage shades. Many guests keep them on a dresser or tucked into a frame with the pressed petal from the box.
Choosing for your guests
With The Posy, each guest chooses a bouquet or one small wearable. With The Garland and The Wildflower, any piece is on the table, crowns included. We match the palette to your invitation, so everyone's flowers look like they belong together in photos.
Packages from $750 for up to 12 guests. Crowns are included with The Garland, $1,200 for up to 20.
Hold a dateKindly asked
Will a floral ring fit everyone?
Yes. We make each ring on an adjustable band, so it fits any finger.
Are crowns heavy?
No. We keep them light so they're comfortable for the whole party, and they sit on the head without pins.
Can men and kids wear something too?
Of course. Pins work well on a jacket or bag strap, and kids choose their flowers while we make the piece for them.
Will the colors stay the same when dried?
They soften. Dried stems keep their color best; fresh blooms fade to muted, vintage shades, especially if left in the sun.
